In 1973 Mr. Paolo Alvisi had the opportunity to take over a small company that supplied wheels and castors to the appliance industries.

The beginnings as always were very difficult, but the passion for mechanics and a constantly expanding European market gave the right space to become a small, fast-growing industry until the 2000s.

The years of globalization and the entry into force of the Euro stimulated AL.FER, which until then was committed to meeting the massive demands of the market, to renew itself by developing new ideas and applying effective and courageous choices of corporate reorganization.

At this stage it was fundamental the support of traditional products that have affirmed us in the world, together with the decision to follow specific customer requests by implementing new series and innovative models.
